Green Buildings and Sustainable Designs

Our ultimate goal is to have integrated design solutions for the buildings with a vision for sustainability that meets Clean BC grant requirements.

Projects are focused mainly on water and energy saving plans, waste heat recovery system design and water treatment systems.

Renewable Energy/Clean Energy

Our specialty is design and selection of components for renewable/clean energy systems, such as photovoltaic(PV) panels, hot water and PV-Thermal solar panels for residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial applications; and design of geothermal heat pump systems.

Energy Audits

Energy Audit or in other words energy conversion and efficiency analysis is measurement, verification and analysis of an energy conversion system. Energy efficiency analysis can be performed for residential buildings, commercial buildings, or industrial processes.

Energy efficiency analysis is not limited to only mechanical energy conversion system analysis, but also applies to energy demand management, also known as Demand-Side Managemend (DSM) that is aimed at modifying consumption patterns at the point of consumption.

Design of Mechanical Systems

We focus on mechanical systems pertaining to buildings and infrastructure such as HVAC, Fire Protection (standpipes, sprinklers, smoke management), Plumbing, Industrial Ventilation, and IAQ.

Design process involves basic design, detailed design, tendering, and supervision of installation of mechanical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Research and Development in Thermofluids field

Most of the Enerphoton projects in this area pertains toComputational fluid dynamics (CFD) analyses and experimental studies in the general area of thermofluids.

Also, past projects in the area of thermal analysis of building envelope, and study of air movement and distribution inside the buildings.
